Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience with process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including time studies and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, 5S, standard work, and SPC; Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing methods, procedures, and standard work instructions.
• Maintain process documentation, work standards, process flow diagrams, and records of improvements.
• Design or modify tooling, fixtures, workstation layouts, and material flow to boost productivity.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and line balancing to set production standards.
• Train shop floor personnel on new products and revised processes; verify adoption.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, waste reduction, and setup reduction.
• Validate process changes with production trials, capability studies, and measurements.
• Collaborate with product development to improve manufacturability and new products.
• Create and manage ECOs; reflect changes in production documentation.
• Validate BOMs and routings to reflect improved methods and timings.
• Use data and root cause analysis to reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and variation.
• Follow safety and quality requirements and support the quality policy.
