Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing plant in Ohio. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, HVAC, and production equipment; perform preventive and predictive maintenance; read blueprints and manuals; and ensure safety, quality, and 5S standards are followed.

You will coordinate with outside contractors and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge to support safe diagnostics and fixes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of OSHA and commitment to workplace safety.
• Experience with CMMS maintenance recordkeeping and work order processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and production support equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC, compressors, utilities, and lighting.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and basic electrical problems; use blueprints and manuals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and 5S initiatives.
• Coordinate with outside contractors while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.
