Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg, OH, is seeking a Production Planner to guide order flow, tune safety stocks, and partner with scheduling, materials, and engineering teams to keep production on track. You will be on-site at the Twinsburg facility, reporting to the PCA Team Lead.

You will release orders, monitor SAP exceptions, own portfolio inventory, and design material strategies for NPM and orderly phase-outs, collaborating across Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• ERP planning proficiency (SAP ideal).
• APICS certification preferred or in progress within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Release and sequence manufacturing orders based on material and capacity realities.
• Monitor SAP exceptions and component consumption; engage suppliers to close gaps.
• Own inventory levels and drive countermeasures with Central Material Analysts and Master Schedulers when thresholds are breached.
• Refine planning parameters to set safety stock and reorder points aligned to the materials planning playbook.
• Collaborate with Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers to understand capacity and minimize past due orders.
• Design and maintain material, manufacturing, and procurement strategies for New Product Manufacturing (NPM) and phase-outs.
• Partner with Master Scheduler monthly on safety stock and finished goods builds.
