Job summary

PMQ Services, LLC in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a contract welder to perform welding on aluminum and steel parts to tight tolerances, following approved drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree with 3 years related experience or certification may be required.

Description
Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys.
Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Testing Requirements:
Pipe Welders will do thin wall copper nickel socket welds and heavy wall copper nickel pipe with consumable insert
Required Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience;
Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience.
May require certification.

Shift
7AM to 3:30 PM
