Qualifications

• Post high school education is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing; 1–3 years in people management.
• Ability to set up and manage agendas with clear time frames and visual aids.
• Strong communication skills and training ability.
• Expertise in CI, 5S and TPM; knowledge of quality programs and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manages the production operation of the Mill department.
• Manages a group of employees and motivates for maximum productivity.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves issues and opportunities.
• Evaluates performance and conducts employee reviews.
• Coaches and counsels employees.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and law.
• Communicates with employees and management as required.
• Manages department cost, profitability, and inventory.
• Leads continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Prepares reports and maintains records.
• Ensures safety standards are followed.
• May drive a forklift to assist with material movement.
