Description: Manufacturing Associate: Consumables 1st shift 2nd shift 4:50 am- 3:20 pm Mon-Thurs

The production associate's responsibilities include operating equipment to produce components based on blueprints or work instructions. Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

1. Reading and following work procedures or listening to verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
2. Performing manufacturing, assembly, or packing operations and other various tasks from procedures, work instructions, or blueprints.
3. Recording daily output.
4. Following all EHS and Quality policies and procedures including wearing required PPE.
5. Working with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent and 1 year of manufacturing experience.
2. Ability to communicate, receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions for duties.
3. Basic math skills required.
4. Attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
6. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.
7. Must be capable of steadily using their hands for the operation and manufacturing of equipment.
8. Must be able to read and write simple statements.
9. Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment.

Dress Code: This is a manufacturing facility and safety is our #1 priority. OSHA-approved steel or composite-toe shoes and long pants covering ankles and legs are required. Safety glasses must always be worn on the production floor. Long pants include jeans, slacks, uniform pants, etc. Sweatpants, shorts, yoga pants, capris, etc., are prohibited. Shirt sleeves must cover the shoulders and may not have offensive wording or images. All clothing must be free from tears, including those designed with such. Shorts, miniskirts, dresses, cropped tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, and open-toed shoes are prohibited.
