Job summary

Lear Corporation in Hebron, OH is seeking a Production Team Member to manufacture quality products safely and efficiently. You will insert components into seating molds, remove finished parts, inspect, and help with finishing and packing for shipment.

The role requires light to medium manufacturing experience, ability to stand for long periods, and the flexibility to work shifts including first and third. A pre-hire background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Light to medium manufacturing experience
• Ability to pass pre-hire requirements (Background check, Drug Screening, etc.)
• Long Term Open Ended Contract (Possibility of Direct Hire)

Responsibilities

• Place inserts (support wires, Velcro, seat frames, felt pieces) into seating molds as specified by standards.
• Remove finished foam seating pads from molds and place parts on a conveyer for the next stage.
• Remove foam particles from molds and apply a thin layer of demolding agent.
• Repair marked defects and trim to contour of part.
• Pack finished goods according to placard specification.
• Disassemble scrapped products to salvage material.
• Clean surrounding work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
