Job summary

Gentex Corporation in Carbondale, PA seeks production operators to join multiple level roles. Work on assembly/manufacturing tasks following established procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities include following instructions, inspecting products for conformance, setting up and operating machines, and aiding in material handling. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• May perform the following tasks in a variety of departments: Preform, Fabrication, Assembly/Sub Assembly/Cleaning & final Assembly, Drying, Packing, Creel, Cell Operator, General Utility, Foaming, Velcro.
• Examines product for conformance with specifications.
• Sets up, minor repairs and operates machines and equipment.
• May inventory materials and supplies and report order needs.
• May specialize in certain tasks.
