Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator to support pilot plant manufacturing campaigns under the guidance of BI technicians. You will operate pilot plant equipment, assist with batch processing, and ensure GMP compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting batch records, attending daily operations meetings, and helping communicate batch status to chemists and analytical teams. A background in GMP manufacturing and teamwork is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate Degree required.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bulk manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Understanding of manufacturing systems, methods, and operational practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to equipment.

Job description

The Pilot Plant Operator will support pilot plant manufacturing campaigns under the guidance of experienced BI technicians. The role involves operating manufacturing equipment, assisting with batch processing activities, maintaining GMP compliance, and ensuring safety standards are met throughout all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of Lead BI Technicians during pilot plant campaigns.
• Collaborate with plant technicians and campaign managers to resolve equipment and process-related challenges.
• Assist lead technicians with communicating batch status updates to chemists, analytical teams, and manufacturing support groups.
• Operate pilot plant equipment and develop proficiency in manufacturing processes.
• Complete batch record documentation, calculations, and required operational records accurately.
• Attend daily operational meetings and participate in process discussions.
• Participate in PSOR meetings and provide feedback and operational input.
• Complete all required training assignments on time.
• Follow all SOPs, GMP requirements, and safety procedures.
• Properly utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report incidents, spills, exposures, injuries, or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform all duties with safety as the highest priority.
