Job summary

Aptyx in the United States is seeking an Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for operating various PVC dip molding and coating ovens, setting up machines according to specifications and routing instructions, and monitoring operations to ensure proper functioning and quality.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and applying strong manual dexterity and mechanical

Qualifications

• Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Operate ovens and set up machines according to specifications and routing instructions
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy according to supplied prints
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Hanging and racking metal parts to prep for dip molding and/or coating
• Trim, inspect, un-rack, package, and palletize after the oven process
• Assemble parts as needed

Job Summary:

Experience:

• - Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred but not required
• - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week.
