Summary
The primary role of a Manufacturing Operator is to set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment using established processes for the manufacture of medical components. Roles include, but are not limited to: extrusion, molding, braiding, or grinding. This person may work with manufacturing personnel, maintenance, quality assurance, and technical teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery such as thermoplastic extruders, line‑supporting equipment, molding machines, monofilament braiders, centerless grinders, and RF tipping platforms.
- Document activities accurately and completely.
- Follow sequences of operations while performing techniques such as cutting, bonding, inspection, and packing.
- Work with (and near) inks, isopropyl alcohol, and other manufacturing‑related liquids.
- Comply with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), general safety and manufacturing procedures, and company practices and policies.
- Read, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: inventory software and Microsoft Office.
- Other skills: mechanically inclined, detail oriented, basic math skills.
