Manufacturing Operations Manager | Boonton, NJ | Onsite

EverPeak Recruitment is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of a growing precision manufacturing organization in Northern New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead a high-performing production team.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on operational performance while working closely with executive leadership in a well-established manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved
• Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and cost-reduction strategies
• Oversee production scheduling, workforce planning, and capacity management
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and sales teams to support customer requirements
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
• Develop and mentor supervisors and production personnel
• Support ISO quality standards and operational best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience managing operations within a machining, CNC, Swiss machining, or precision manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, and operational metrics
• Demonstrated success leading teams and improving manufacturing performance
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
