Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to orchestrate line flow, staffing, and continuous improvement at our North Carolina facility.

You translate daily production plans into action, manage staffing with SAP, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead gemba walks, SQPDIC discussions, Layered Process Audits, and kaizen events, coaching Associates and resolving industrial relations matters with fairness and transparency.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Lean manufacturing experience with formal training.
• 5+ years leading teams in manufacturing.
• Experience in optical fiber cabling preferred.
• Customer- and quality-focused with strong stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily staffing and resource planning using SAP and capacity tools.
• Run tiered meetings (SQPDIC) and conduct Gemba walks to surface issues.
• Track and communicate performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, and productivity; report updates regularly.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen events; remove obstacles to flow and standard work.
• Serve as primary contact for industrial relations and business communications; ensure fairness and transparency.
• Lead audits (6S, safety, plant appearance) and Layered Process Audits to sustain standards.
• Ensure conformance to Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 EMS; partner with HSE for a safe site.
• Develop Associates and build development plans for reports and wider organization.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on metrics and project status.

You translate the daily production plan into action, align staffing through SAP and capacity models, and hold teams to rigorous safety, quality, and delivery standards. Your gemba walks surface issues, your Tiered SQPDIC conversations clarify priorities, and your Layered Process Audits reinforce what \"good\" looks like.
