Job summary

FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, Inc. in Baytown, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily operations in the Connections manufacturing department, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient production.

The role partners with Quality, Warehouse, Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to meet customer and business requirements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, with experience in lean manufacturing or Six

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering/production field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience leading multi-step manufacturing operations and coordinating with Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Engineering.
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead Connections manufacturing activities to meet safety, production, delivery, cost and quality goals.
Develop and manage department budgets, including labor and materials.
Ensure safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to optimize flow.
Coach and develop supervisory staff and production teams.
Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions as needed.
