Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking an Operations Manager to lead all manufacturing operations at our Chesterfield, MO facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, production efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective resource and budget management.

The position requires working on-site daily in Missouri. You will drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma, coach a production team, and collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure on-time delivery while upholding a strong safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience.
At least 3 years of management experience.
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification.
Experience with metal manufacturing systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Champions environment, health, and safety for the site including regulatory compliance.
Develops and maintains plant’s operational budget including cost savings and sustainability in production.
Reduces non-conformance quality issues by partnering with quality and CAPA.
Leads Plant Leadership Team and manages the manufacturing functions of a one-shift production team.
Drives 6S in production areas and oversees continuous improvement projects.
