Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer/Administrator for a Manufacturing environment. The role covers LAN/WAN/WLAN design and deployment across office and manufacturing spaces using Cisco Meraki and UniFi platforms.

You will own the IT network environment, collaborate with OT for secure segmentation, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC. Responsibilities include managing DHCP/DNS/VPN and documenting SSPs for audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network engineering or administration experience.
• Cisco networking techs including Catalyst, Meraki, wireless and security platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in VLANs, routing, spanning tree, subnetting, ACLs and VPNs.
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC, and readiness for assessments.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF, QoS, and SD-WAN concepts is preferred.
• IT/OT segmentation familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN across office and manufacturing.
• Own IT network environment including architecture, VLANs, routing, wireless, firewall policies.
• Collaborate with OT network engineers to support secure IT/OT connectivity.
• Maintain security controls aligned with NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
• Support DHCP, DNS, VPN, remote access, and network authentication.
• Document networks with diagrams, baselines, change logs, and SSPs for CMMC.
