Job summary

Atlantic Design in Baltimore is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanic / Entry Level Welder for a full-time role with benefits. You will join our team to assemble stock parts, weld, repair, and fabricate metal components using various welding and fabrication tools.

We value a strong work ethic, 1 year of mechanical/manufacturing experience, MIG welding training, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and willingness to work overtime. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year mechanical, assembly and manufacturing experience in an industrial setting.
• Training with MIG welding required, basic understanding of machines and tools used in welding.
• Strong hand/power tool knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble stock parts and install pre-fabricated structural components.
• Join, repair, and perform light fabrication of metal and other weldable material using welding techniques.
• Operate various welding/fitting/fabrication tools and maintain productivity and quality output.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; ability to read tape measures.
