Job summary

Saint-Gobain Wayne, NJ is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate to maintain inventory and prepare shipments. You will pick, pack, and document orders according to SOPs and work instructions, contributing to on-time customer delivery.

Work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Candidates should be able to operate forklifts (training provided) and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to operate independently and as a part of a team.
  • Basic command of the English language, written and verbal.
  • Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, and instructions.
  • Able to handle heavy, bulky items manually.
  • Certified forklift operator training eligibility.
  • Knowledge of Saint-Gobain products in the local area.

Responsibilities

  • Unload/receive products, materials, and supplies from trucks.
  • Place finished product into inventory or ship to customer per sales orders.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and verify counts when directed.
  • Verify counts and part numbers in the computer system.
  • Maintain first-in, first-out inventory rotation.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Communicate and cooperate with colleagues to maintain quality and safety.
  • Generate receipt travelers from the computer system and verify information.
  • File sales orders, shipping memos, UPS daily log, and bills of lading.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area.
  • Maintain required records per SOPs.
  • Observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance to supervisor/manager.
  • Participate in self-development and training of others.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
  • Understand environmental policies per ISO 14001 understanding.

The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible to maintain inventory of all assigned product. Pick, pack, and prepare product and necessary documentation for shipment, as specified by SOPs and work instructions.

  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety.
  • Generate receipt travelers from computer system and verify accuracy of information.
  • File sales orders, copies of shipping memos, UPS daily log, and bills of lading.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
  • Maintain necessary records as required by SOP’s and work instructions.
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required.
  • Participate in self-development and training of others.
  • Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
Qualifications:

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $23 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position is $47,400 to $57,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

  • Standard Overtime (Hourly rate * 1.5)
