Qualifications

• Certifications like CMEng, CPIM, or Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus.
• Direct experience in a manufacturing environment in roles such as production supervisor or operations analyst is required.
• Demonstrable experience managing teams and implementing process improvements.
• Industry knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Quality Control: implement and monitor procedures to meet established standards.
• Production Planning and Scheduling: create/manage production schedules, coordinate resources, and optimize workflows to meet targets.
• Staff Management: hire, train, and supervise production staff.
• Process Optimization: identify improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve on-time performance.
• Equipment Maintenance: coordinate maintenance with maintenance staff to keep equipment reliable.
• Inventory Management: oversee inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Reporting and Analysis: generate production reports and provide insights to leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with HSE, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Team and People development: develop strategies to improve skills and teamwork.
