Job summary
Leader Tech in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Conductive Elastomer Manufacturing Manager to lead all operations related to the production of conductive elastomer materials and finished EMI shielding components, including bonded O-rings, pressed O-rings, die-cut gaskets, and custom elastomer assemblies.
The role requires a technical degree and hands-on leadership, overseeing process control, product quality, safety, staffing, and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5–7 years in manufacturing leadership.
- Experience with compression molding, transfer molding, elastomer bonding, and die cutting.
- Strong understanding of conductive elastomer materials and GD&T.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily operations of elastomer processing and finishing.
- Schedule production and allocate labor to meet customer delivery requirements while minimizing scrap.
- Oversee compounding of conductive elastomer formulations with fillers.
- Ensure adherence to cure profiles, durometer specs, and conductivity targets.
- Lead continuous improvement, CAPA and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
