Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to provide hands-on leadership across manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. You will lead teams, use data and KPIs (Power BI) to guide decisions, and partner cross-functionally to meet customer needs.

Two roles exist: Molding Implant/Assemblies and General Molding/Stamping. A Bachelor's degree or 5 years of leadership in manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing, preferably injection molding.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and SPC.
  • Ability to analyze data, drive improvements, and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and production software (MRP).

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Direct ops across production, assembly, scheduling, maintenance, and shipping.
  • Use Power BI and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and drive decisions.
  • Align schedules and resources with customer and business needs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality, efficiency, and capacity.
  • Manage labor, material, scrap, and overhead costs to hit objectives.
  • Support product launches, transfers, and capital equipment projects.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to achieve goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality System, ISO and medical device requirements.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Manager provides hands‑on operational leadership to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and overall business performance. This role leads teams and processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring resources are aligned with business priorities and customer needs. Working collaboratively across the organization, the Manufacturing Manager builds a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, capacity, and performance. Areas of responsibility may include production, assembly, secondary operations, customer service, scheduling, maintenance, and shipping/receiving. This is a key leadership role with a direct impact on customer satisfaction, operational performance, employee engagement, and business growth.

2 positions are available

One will support our Molding Implant and Assemblies team and the 2nd opening will support our General Molding and Stamping team.

  • Lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct manufacturing operations to meet customer and regulatory requirements, with accountability for key performance metrics including safety, OEE, scrap, productivity, on-time delivery, and partnership on customer complaints owning the the corrective actions required.
  • Use data, KPIs, and business intelligence tools, including Power BI, to identify trends, determine root causes, and drive operational and business decisions.
  • Partner with production leadership and cross-functional teams to align production schedules, resources, and priorities with customer and business needs.
  • Identify operational challenges and lead change and continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, capacity, and overall business performance.
  • Manage labor, material, scrap, and overhead costs to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Support product launches, transfers, capital equipment projects, acquisitions, and system improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and the markets we serve.
  • Partner with Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other business functions to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with the company Quality System, ISO and medical device requirements, safety programs, work instructions, and standard work.
  • Ensure business systems and processes are effectively implemented, maintained, and utilized to support operational performance.
  • Champion Operational Excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an injection molding environment

USD $100,900.00 - USD $151,300.00 /Yr.
