Job summary

Haco Culinary in Manteno, IL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of production, facility and support equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and collaborate with maintenance, production and quality teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires a strong fault-finding mindset, ability to read electrical schematics, and hands-on welding and fabrication skills. Overtime and emergency response may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years’ related experience &/or training.
• Must be able to fabricate & sanitary weld.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations & procedures.
• Flexible in daily schedule & willing to work overtime during emergencies.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Verbal & written English communication skills.
• Will interact with multiple departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and supporting equipment.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance.
• Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and related systems across departments.
• Inspect heating, cooling, and water treatment systems for the plant.
• Read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and instructions.
• Complete documentation per company guidelines.
• Engage with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Work safely and efficiently per shift.
