Job summary

Essity is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing for our Bordentown, NJ facility. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on paper-converting equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support operators with expert guidance.

The role emphasizes mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills within a safety-focused environment. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a strong emphasis on documentation, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience following a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical blueprints or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work practices and promote team safety culture.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on process equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Maintain documentation (drawings, diagrams, BOMs) and communicate repairs.
• Participate in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and failures.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, SMEs, vendors and contractors.
