Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor protects Sanmina assets including buildings, equipment, and grounds. The candidate will supervise facility maintenance, housekeeping operations, safety, and equipment system reliability. This position will supervise maintenance purchasers, material handlers, and technicians as well as contractors of various trades.
Nature of Duties / Responsibilities
- Help oversee inspections of projects to ensure safety, environmental and contract compliance.
- Help manage project budgets.
- Oversee the work of outside housekeeping vendors and manage vendors, scheduling, and dispatching for routine facility maintenance and projects.
- Maintain spare parts database, order parts and equipment, and ensure spare parts levels.
- Determine employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
- Provide feedback and support.
- Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues.
- Build relationships by interacting with staff, operations, hourly employees, union officials and vendors, and addressing and resolving requests and situations.
- Coach and develop others using career development processes and tools.
- Develop project plans to accomplish objectives; establish goals, milestones and deadlines and identify necessary project resources.
- Estimate, identify and forecast business indicators, such as feasibility, potential growth, costs, risks and benefits, by analyzing relevant data and statistics.
- Manage equipment repair and oversee the correction of problems with tools, machinery and other standard technical equipment.
- Manage routine maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, prolonged service life, and appearance.
- Manage physical assets (machinery, vehicles, equipment, supplies); evaluate, obtain and allocate physical asset resources, maximize their use and project future asset needs.
- Help manage projects and programs including allocating people and resources, organizing logistics and implementation, monitoring progress, adapting plans, and identifying and resolving rollout issues.
- Possesses strong analytical and computer skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical degree preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
- Must be currently in the same geographic location as the job.
- Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and on the weekends.
- Experience supervising employees is required.
Salary Range (annual)
$82,500.00 - $94,500.00
