Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support wafer fab clean rooms. You will execute scheduled maintenance, assemble needed parts in advance, and complete qualifications to return equipment to production.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret technical instructions and mechanical drawings, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and progress through an on-the-job training plan toward certifications and advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in mechanical and maintenance activities on complex tool sets.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and mechanical drawings.
• Experience supporting maintenance in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance work following approved best methods.
• Track and assemble parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time.
• Complete qualifications to bring equipment from maintenance to production state.
• Track critical data from maintenance to identify opportunities for improvement in PM performance.
• Participate in on-the-job training plans leading to required certifications and advancement.

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed
• Track and assemble of parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time
• Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production
• Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance
• Have an on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in and capability of performing mechanical and maintenance activities on complex tool sets, able to effectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and ability to read and understand technical instructions and mechanical drawings.
