Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years using manufacturing machinery and tools.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, multitask, and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with proven ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to lead teams, manage production lines, and optimize efficiency.
• Apply principles of statistical process control and use quality tools such as flow charts and control charts.
• Assist with staff development and training initiatives.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures, while identifying areas for workplace improvements.
• Gain experience in labor relations, including contract administration in union facilities.
• Manage equipment, materials, production throughput, and team performance.
• Prepare reports and collaborate with plant management to understand manufacturing processes and equipment.
