Job summary

Ultra Tool & Manufacturing is seeking a skilled production support professional to help run the assigned work area, set up machines, stage materials, and coordinate workflow. You will train operators, monitor quality, and address issues daily to maintain efficient production and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership when the Operations Manager is absent and collaboration with leads to identify process improvements and maintain high-quality output.

Qualifications

• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer and math skills; ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Preferred: machine maintenance & technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines, perform in-process quality checks, and package components to customer requirements.
• Set up and tear down machines.
• Stage materials, packaging, paperwork, and inspection equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Train operators on processes, safety, and quality requirements.
• Monitor product quality and address quality issues.
• Address personnel issues with the Operations Manager and other leads.
• Inspect equipment daily and report equipment issues.
• Identify and support process improvements.
• Support daily production and workflow within the assigned work area.
