Job summary

Everlast Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Laborer for our Ohio plant. The role supports production tasks, handles materials, and operates basic packaging equipment to ensure smooth operations.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, assist with inventories, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals. Competitive benefits available. Schedule: Mon-Wed 3:30 pm until completion; Thu-Fri 3 pm until completion.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy materials (25 lbs+).
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks according to instructions and standards.
• Inspect products and materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow quality control procedures and report deviations to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, cleaning, and removing debris.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety instructions.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals.
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor and collaborate to find solutions.
• Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
• Perform any duties assigned.
• Package products according to company standards and specific customer requirements.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.
• Inspect products before packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist in managing packaging materials inventory, ensuring that supplies are stocked and organized.
• Understand how to use weigh table correctly.
