Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and comprehensive training for students, faculty, and staff on manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Provide regular updates on technical, functional, and safety operations of shop facilities.
• Source, purchase, and maintain new equipment, tools, and materials; maintain records.
• Coordinate equipment and facility maintenance and train/supervise student assistants.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
