Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking a Lab Technician to join our Sunnyside facility. The Lab Technician will assist in product processing and formulation, support the Lab Manager, maintain clean production areas, and ensure quality control measures are followed.

You will perform day-to-day tasks including prepping and packaging in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate has two years of laboratory experience in a regulated setting, comfort with GMP documentation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years of laboratory experience in a regulated setting.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical production preferred.
• Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
• Availability for weekend shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with Windows software and POS systems.
• Able to work around plant materials, pollen and dust.

Responsibilities

• Prepare extraction and processing tasks in accordance with Cresco Labs standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and GMP-compliant documentation in production areas.
• Assist in formulation, packaging, and routine lab operations.

JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking Lab Technician to join our facility. The Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation. The Lab Technician completes tasks assigned by the Lab Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production areas well as maintains quality control measures. The agent is also responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks including prepping and packaging.

CORE JOB DUTIES

Manufacturing:

• Responsible for the preparation of Cresco Labs extraction, facilitating the processing of product in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs
• Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by Cresco Labs
• Responsible for product processing and product formulation
• Lab bench work and product filtrations
• Work in various environmental conditions, including colder temperatures.
• Provide assistance across multiple facility departments as required.
• Perform data entry and documentation tasks in adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

Facility Cleaning:

• Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility
• Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by Cresco Labs before performing any production activities including washing hands, wearing a hair net, changing clothes, etc…
• Complete the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspace, lab equipment, containers, and appliances.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Two (2) years of experience working in a laboratory setting that follows strict health and safety protocols; or any satisfactory combination of training and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the role.
• Past experience in a highly regulated field producing pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products preferred
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule based on business needs, including occasional weekend shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications
• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Pay Range

$18.50 - $18.50 USD
