Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is seeking an IT Support Specialist based in Salt Lake City to provide foundational technical support for software, infrastructure and manufacturing systems. This entry-to-mid-level role works under guidance from Analysts and Architects, handling routine troubleshooting and on-site or remote assistance to maintain business continuity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field; AI/ML foundations helpful.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Azure AI Fundamentals or related certifications preferred.
Experience with AI/ML coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide foundational technical support for software, infrastructure and applications.
Diagnose routine technical issues and assist with maintenance tasks.
Support day-to-day operations and on-site or remote troubleshooting.
Document processes, topologies and end-user training materials.
Assist in basic configuration, testing and change management.
Collaborate with Analysts and Architects on small projects.
