Job summary

A leading engineering services firm is seeking a Manufacturing Intelligence Specialist for their Wilmington, NC or Chester, VA offices. The candidate will offer project-related engineering services, support the sales team in technical sales, and act as a point of contact for clients. They should have over 5 years of experience with the Ignition platform and SQL Server technologies. The role may require up to 25% travel, with relocation assistance available for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience with the Ignition platform and extensive database experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server technologies including clustering, LogShipping, SSRS.
• Preferred knowledge of Azure configuration and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-related engineering services including MES development and IT support.
• Provide technical sales support for the sales team including client visits and proposal development.
• Function as the primary communication point for clients.
• Perform duties as a technical lead and guide younger engineers.
• Travel up to 25% as required to support project objectives.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Ignition platform

Excellent knowledge of SQL Server technologies

Preferred knowledge of Azure configuration

About the job Manufacturing Intelligence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide project related engineering services including but not limited to MES development, web development, process historian configuration, network configuration, SQL configuration and general IT support.
• Provide technical sales support for Company sale team members, including client visits, job walk-downs, and proposal development/review.
• Function as frontline communication and point-of-contact for clients.
• Perform duties as a technical lead which includes working with and providing guidance for younger, less experienced engineers as needed to satisfy project requirements.
• Travel up to 25% as required to support project and client objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have 5 or more years of hands‑on experience with the Ignition platform and extensive database experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server technologies (SQL Server clustering, LogShipping, SSRS, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge of Azure configuration and deployments

An ideal candidate will be able to work out of either our Wilmington NC or Chester VA office locations. Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.
