• Proficient in Excel is a must.
• JMP or other statistical software is a plus.
• SQL or Python coding knowledge is a plus.
• Root-cause identification and solution implementation skills required.

Responsibilities

• The intern will support improving Yield for the site and continuous improvement projects on wattage for solar panel.
• Do basic analysis on scrap data and report daily status.
• Learn new software for handling scrap and JMP analysis.
• Work independently with various groups on investigations, collecting, organizing and reporting observations and root-cause analysis.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and present findings in technical forums.
• Create SOP documents and deploy on factory floor for validation.
• Learn production floor logistics and support experiments.
• Support sample preparation for lab work.
• Able to work first or second shift as needed.
• Present accomplishments and project summary to leadership at internship end.

Estimated Salary Range

Hybrid Physical Requirements

• Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.


• Will climb stairs on an occasional basis.


• Will lift, push or pull up to 37 pounds on an occasional basis.


• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.


• 20/40 vision in both eyes together, with or without correction, is required.


• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
