Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated MFG Integration Engineer with strong process and integration experience in a manufacturing or development environment within the HDD Head or semiconductor industry.

  • Introduce and implement new products into the manufacturing line.
  • Create and optimize new process routes to support existing process and product upgrades.
  • Work with Program, Design, and Development Engineering teams to qualify new products.
  • Work with Process and Equipment Engineering teams to qualify new processes and equipment as either the main path or backup path.
  • Partner with Failure Analysis and Yield teams to improve line yield, element yield, and cycle time.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure specifications, procedures, and outgoing product quality meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with backend process teams to improve product performance and backend process yield.
Qualifications
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in processing, integration, and characterization in the HDD, semiconductor, or similar manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Good project management, data mining, data analysis, and evaluation skills.
  • Proficient with computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JMP, and SAS.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering procedures and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, MRR, etc. is preferred.
