Plateco, Inc. in Reedsburg, Wisconsin is seeking a dependable Plant Janitor to maintain cleanliness across the manufacturing floor and facility.

This full-time role involves sweeping, mopping, organizing spaces, and assisting with painting and upkeep to ensure a safe, tidy environment for production teams. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and follow safety procedures around equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing floor and facility.
• Sweep, mop, clean, and maintain production and common areas.
• Keep work areas, walkways, and other areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Assist with painting and touch-up projects throughout the facility.
• Help organize and maintain supplies, equipment, and designated areas.
• Assist with general upkeep and appearance of the facility.
• Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of the outside grounds and surrounding areas.
• Help keep dumpsters, trash areas, and other designated areas clean and organized.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to address them.
• Assist with various facility upkeep projects as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures when working around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and production areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the plant.
