Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the business area through internal and external reporting, forecasts, and budgets. You will analyze revenues, costs, and customer profitability, working with Plant, Business Unit, Area, and Regional leadership to drive performance.

You will engage with multiple departments, support Six Sigma initiatives, and contribute to capital economic analyses and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant analysis experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for improvement.
• Advanced skills in Excel and common analytics tools (SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion SmartView, QlikView, KIWI, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review internal and external reporting, forecasts and budgets.
• Analyze revenues, sales volumes, operating costs and customer profitability.
• Support capital economic analyses and maintain modeling consistency.
• Track performance metrics and identify gaps or under-performance trends.
• Assist with month-end closing, variance analysis and audit support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to drive efficiency.
