Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation based in Corona, CA, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support month-end close, standard cost accounting, and inventory control in a manufacturing context. You will partner with Operations to provide financial insights and influence decisions.

Key duties include cost estimation for new/existing SKUs, inventory management across cycles, and daily reporting on metrics. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work across finance and operations are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting with 1-2 years in finance, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and standard cost accounting.
  • Experience with SAP including Fixed Assets, inventory, BOMs, and routings; strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with high-frequency reporting cycles (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and Fixed Assets reconciliation.
  • Prepare standard cost estimates for new and existing SKUs and support NPI cost estimating.
  • Own and support inventory management activities including obsolete inventory tracking, cycle counts, and YEI.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of scrap and produce daily reports on labor and other metrics.
  • Own petty cash and account reconciliations; process expense requests for R&D/NPI/production areas.
