As the financial analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for the sites, providing financial analysis, business support and cost account oversight for manufacturing-related financial and inventory systems. This is a highly visible position where you will partner with key stakeholders across finance, accounting, supply chain and operations. You will gain deep exposure to manufacturing cost structures and inventory analysis while driving financial insights that impact decision-making. If you’re looking for a dynamic role with career growth potential, this is the opportunity for you!This position is onsite.Primary Purpose:The candidate will be the primary point of contact in support of CACI manufacturing for one or more business manufacturing sites. Operating in a team environment under general supervision, support manufacturing finance through financial analysis, cost analysis, risk analysis, system reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for analyzing transactions across Infor LN and Costpoint, resolving discrepancies, supporting COGS accounting, and partnering with Operations and Finance to improve financial processes and reporting.Responsibilities:Conducts financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.) evaluating historical results and providing forward-looking projections. Analysis includes evaluation and research of large data sets and implementation of corrective actions resulting from the analysis.Perform financial analysis in support of ongoing production management. Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance activities as assigned.Analyze inventory obsolescence, cost drivers, and at-risk inventory to forecast financial impacts.Prepare and present internal financial reports including site dashboards and business metrics, cost trends, margin analysis, and budget forecasting. Reporting includes communicating results of financial analyses to Operations, Finance, and local management.Prepare executive-level presentations that translate financial and operational data into clear insights, highlighting performance drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Present findings to Finance, Operations, and executive leadership as needed.Identify and implement improvements to recurring reporting, reconciliations, and financial-analysis processes. Standardize recurring outputs, reduce manual effort, and strengthen data accuracy and consistency in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Develops and refines financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.Month-end close, including: Analysis and reconciliation of financial and manufacturing system transactions and resolve discrepancies. Review of product shipments to ensure costs are accurately recorded in the general ledger. Preparation of monthly journal entries (i.e. cost of goods sold) and related month-end close activities. Research transactions, inventory, and cost issues and implement corrective actions.
