Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Facility Custodian to maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment. You will service production areas, offices, restrooms and break rooms, supporting 5S and safety initiatives while upholding professional workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning - Daily.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout each shift.
• Empty trash throughout the facility.
• Offices, cafeteria, bathrooms, shop floor, and external trash bins.
• Sweep and scrub production floors using floor scrubber.
• Vacuum and clean office areas, conference rooms, and break rooms.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and entrance areas.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, lockers, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of cafeterias and vending areas.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in production aisles.
• Remove cardboard, plastic, and debris from production areas.
• Support production teams by keeping walkways clear.
• Assist with spill cleanup following proper procedures.
• Maintain designated waste collection areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report low levels.
