Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) coordinator to join our packaging team at John Creek, GA. You will manage DSMFLEX MES workflow activities including inspections review, exception processing, lot closures, and coordination of magazine resorts.

The role requires a High School diploma and 3 years of relevant experience, fluent English, and ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift from 6pm to 6:30am. Relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or MES coordination.
• Shift: 6 PM to 6:30 AM, rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Directing and monitoring production workflow to meet specifications, schedules, targets, and quality standards.
• Reviewing and approving QA inspections and coordinating MES-driven inspection actions.
• Monitoring SPC pulls for sampling plan issues/changes.
• Liaising with manufacturing engineering, production, and quality operations.
• Coordinating with others on deviation management.

You will be responsible for managing various DSMFLEX MES workflow activities, including but not limited to reviewing inspections, processing exceptions, closing out lots, and coordinating magazine resorts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Directing and monitoring production workflow to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Reviewing/approving various Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and coordinating MES-driven inspection actions as required
• Monitoring statistical process control (SPC) pulls for sampling plan issues/changes
• Liaising with manufacturing engineering, production, and quality operations
• Coordinating with others on deviation management

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 3 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work Hours: 6p-6:30a. (36 - 48 hours per week/Rotating 12‑Hour Shift Schedule)
• Relocation Not Available
