Job summary

Pall Corporation in Timonium, MD is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to keep automated and semi-automated manufacturing assets running, while performing predictive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

You will review CMMS work orders, troubleshoot with Production and Engineering, fabricate parts as needed, document work accurately, and support reliability and safety upgrades on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep assets running through preventive and predictive maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

A day in the life

On our Timonium, MD production floor, you arrive to a concise handoff with Operations. You’ll walk the line of automated and semi-automated equipment, reviewing CMMS work orders and starting your predictive checks. A pneumatic actuator sounds off — you dive into root‑cause analysis, verify sensor signals, adjust calibration, and return the cell to spec. Before lunch, you machine a small bracket to support a guarding improvement. In the afternoon, you document your work accurately in CMMS, collaborate with Production and Engineering on a recurring hydraulic issue, and finish by setting up and testing a mechanical assembly for tomorrow’s run. All day long, Environmental Health & Safety and Quality expectations guide your decisions.

What you’ll do

• Fabricate and machine parts as needed to support reliability and safety upgrades.
• Execute and close out maintenance work orders with precise documentation in our CMMS.
• Set up, calibrate, and verify components and mechanical assemblies using appropriate tools and test methods.

Where you’ll fit

This on-site role in Timonium, MD reports to the Maintenance Manager and is a key member of the Maintenance Team.

What you bring

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Physical and environment

• Lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently; stand for an entire shift; reach, bend, squat, and kneel as tasks require.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic PC skills; able to follow work instructions and technical drawings.

Preferred exposure

• Hazardous waste handling, industrial/manufacturing environments, and electrical work.
• Familiarity with injection molding and melt‑blowing processes.

Schedule

A Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (three 12‑hour shifts), plus Wednesday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM. Candidates must be willing to work scheduled hours, including overtime and holidays.

Compensation and benefits

• Hourly range: $32 - $36 per hour (range reflects good‑faith estimate at time of posting and may change).
• Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
