Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Manchester, PA is hiring a skilled maintenance technician to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

You’ll read blueprints, work with PLCs and electrical systems, and support upgrades, changes, and startup testing. We value safety, 5S discipline, and teamwork across Production, Engineering, and Quality. Competitive pay included.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Able to use hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Read technical manuals and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues quickly and safely.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and document actions.
• Assist with equipment installs, modifications, testing, and startup activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement with process enhancements.
• Support planned shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and audit readiness, and follow safety procedures.

You scan your preventive maintenance queue, prioritize a VFD cabinet inspection, then pivot to a rapid response when a conveyor stalls. One moment you’re tracing a wiring diagram to isolate a sensor fault; the next you’re collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Quality to fine-tune an installation so startup is smooth and safe.
