Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician D at the Cincinnati, OH site to support critical defense programs. You will work with production teams to set up and maintain assembly, inspection, and test equipment, troubleshoot issues, and train operators to improve safety, quality, and output.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent with significant relevant experience or an associate’s degree with relevant work history, and are prepared to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electronics fabrication and assembly processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and support process improvements.
• Experience training operators and working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing methods and tools for fabricating components.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot assembly, inspection, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve yield issues and improve efficiency.
• Train production personnel in new or existing operations.
• Set up and validate new production workstations.
• Implement corrective actions to improve materials, designs, and processes.
• Deliver manufacturing engineering support to production teams.
• Mentor other manufacturing technicians.
