Job summary

Masimo Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support Process, Equipment and Automation Engineering teams. You will help develop and optimize manufacturing processes, create documentation, assemble prototypes and troubleshoot for engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronic Test, Automation or Mechanical Technician roles.
• Experience with electrical/optical products and equipment.
• Industrial Controls panel wiring, cable routing, crimping, termination, labeling, sensors, robotics, PLC wiring.
• Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 9000 preferred.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, document, test, and repair product, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain instruments and manufacturing equipment with calibration and asset control.
• Fabricate wire harnesses and assemble automation equipment.
• Develop Manufacturing Assembly Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Execute process development experiments and log data.
• Set up and maintain surface mount technology equipment.
• Train manufacturing associates.
• Provide input to engineering staff for process improvements.
• Assist in prototype builds (3D prints, testing).
