This role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Strong problem-solving, Lean principles, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Support engineers in reviewing processes and identifying improvements.
• Apply lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Work with production teams to ensure new products can be manufactured effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues.
• Perform time and motion studies to improve workflow.
• Help create and update process documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure processes follow safety and quality standards.
• Assist in designing tools or equipment based on engineering needs.
• Complete routine equipment calibration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
