The Pivot Group Network is actively seeking an Engineering Manager in Zeeland, MI to lead daily engineering activities across process, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves managing a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing capital projects, and driving safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Based in Zeeland/ Ottawa County area with a focus on local manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

Supervise or lead engineering teams in manufacturing settings.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
Experience managing capital projects and budgets.
Working knowledge of safety and quality management systems.

Responsabilités

Direct daily engineering activities across process, equipment, and continuous improvement work.
Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, setting priorities and performance goals.
Oversee capital projects from scope and justification through installation and startup.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
Manage engineering budgets, project schedules, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality leaders on cross functional initiatives.
Report project status and key metrics to plant and operations leadership.
