Job summary

Humanetics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team responsible for optimizing production, improving processes, and delivering world-class manufacturing solutions. You will own the manufacturing strategy and drive execution across facilities, resolving complex challenges and enhancing efficiency and quality at every stage.

You will mentor engineers, champion Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, partner with Design Engineering on ECOs, manage ERP updates (Syteline/CSI),

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven project management, prioritization, and execution abilities.
• Analytical mindset with data analytics skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/process/manufacturing or chemistry.
• CAD skills with Inventor 3D and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes: molding, tooling, CNC machining, assembly and testing.
• Champion root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process failures and quality issues.
• Partner cross-functionally with Design Engineering on ECOs, Deviations, PCRs, and Quality to ensure manufacturability and targets.
• Oversee manufacturing documentation, ERP updates (Syteline/CSI), work instructions, process sheets, BOMs and routings.
• Play a key role in daily production scheduling, MRB reviews, and performance tracking.
• Lead weekly Manufacturing Engineering meetings focused on priorities and continuous improvement.
• Support customer-focused initiatives including complaint resolution and 8D investigations.
• Drive plant optimization including layout improvements, materials flow, and preventive maintenance.
• Lead CAPEX planning and execution, including justification and implementation.

What You’ll Do

As Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will guide and empower a team responsible for optimizing production and ensuring seamless execution across manufacturing operations. You will take ownership of the manufacturing strategy and execution, from resolving complex process challenges to enhancing efficiency and quality at every stage.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering team
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing processes: molding, tooling, CNC machining, assembly and testing.
• Champion root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process failures and quality issues, collecting and analyzing production data.
• Partner cross-functionally with Design Engineering on ECOs, Deviations, PCRs, and Quality to ensure manufacturability, targets achievements through PPA approvals and continuous performance monitoring.
• Oversee manufacturing documentation, ERP (Syteline/CSI) updates, including work instructions, process sheets, BOMs and routings.
• Play a key role in daily production scheduling, MRB reviews, and performance tracking.
• Lead weekly Manufacturing Engineering meetings focused on priorities, accountability, and continuous improvement, and reporting to corporate management.
• Support customer-focused initiatives including complaint resolution, 8D investigations, and material returns.
• Drive plant optimization efforts including layout improvements, materials flow, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Lead capital equipment planning and execution, including CAPEX justification and implementation.
