Job summary

MRINetwork seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a high mix, high volume site in Enfield, CT. You will lead a team of 20 across manufacturing, production, tooling and operations, fostering lean practices and continuous improvement.

You will mentor engineering professionals, advance automation opportunities, and manage the department budget to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Manufacturing degree required.
• 8+ years in manufacturing operations with at least 4 years in manufacturing/engineering management.
• Experience with high mix/high volume manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing expertise.
• ISO 9001, 14,000.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Responsible for department budgeting.

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 20 in manufacturing, production, tooling and operations for thiswell organized manufacturing site.

The role is open due to promotion.

The operational goal is to continue with the lean manufacturing success and continuous improvement initiatives, creating opportunities for new advancements and automation, while developing and mentoring Engineering Professionals on the team.

For consideration, we are looking for the following:

• Engineering Degree or Manufacturing Degree Required
• 8+ years in a Manufacturing Operation with at least 4 years of Manufacturing Management, Manufacturing Engineering Management or Engineering Management
