Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Boulder, CO seeks a Multi-Functional Engineering Manager to recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent. You will oversee workload, set priorities, and push improvements in yield, cycle time, and cost while aligning with R&D and manufacturing.

This role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The position emphasizes process knowledge growth, formal documentation, and safe operations in a high-precision optics environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent technical field.
• MS in Engineering, Physics, Business, Engineering Management, or applicable field preferred.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Six Sigma green or black belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the workload of the Engineering team and conduct regular one-on-one sessions.
• Set project priorities to improve yield, cycle time, on-time delivery and cost.
• Lead continuous yield improvement efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with production managers and leaders to drive continuous improvement.
• Transfer new processes into manufacturing and support ECO and NPI processes.
