Space Kinetic is a dual use space technology startup building a completely new architecture for space operations – one that brings the advantages of proliferated drone technology (low-cost, operationally flexible, attainable, distributed) to space missions while reducing the ecosystem’s reliance on consumable fuel. Be a driving force for continuous improvementofthe facility while working with all levels of the organization. Interns will be provided with training and mentorship that will translate to real-world skills and experiences.

As anInternyou will supporttheEngineeringteamto help design and build prototypes for SpaceKinetic’score technology to achieve our mission of a flight demo within the next 2 years in a fast-paced startup environment.This internship is a paid position with both full and part-time employment opportunities available.These roles will be open within a rolling start and endtimeframe.

Makelayouts anddetaildrawings of equipmentassigned. Evaluatesvarious equipment and methods and points out advantages,disadvantagesand production capabilities. Recommends thepurchaseitems needed to keep equipment properlymaintained.
Checks on process capabilities of equipment designed to see that it is properlymaintained.Keepsup to dateof all newdevelopmentsin equipment or processes that could be adapted to improve manufacturing processes.Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities. Contributes and supports other teams or individuals as needed.

What It Takes:

• Currently enrolledforaMechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineeringdegree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be a recent college graduate ORgraduate within the last semester of your program.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and electrical skills arerequired
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-driven, rapidly growing entrepreneurial workplace

Compensation:

$27.00/hr.
